What comes on it? Do I get to pick?
Every order varies. We'll hand-select a delightful assortment of cheeses, meats, jam/honey, pickles/olives, nuts, fresh fruit, dried fruit, crudités, chocolates & other seasonal treats. You don't need to select anything other than the size. Trust us to delight you! We don't have a set photo for what your order will look like, as no two orders are identical. If you have preferences or things you do not care for, simply indicate that information in the comments and we'll do our best to accommodate.
What if I don't like bleu cheese?
Well, as much as we want to believe that everyone can like bleu cheese if they're pairing it right--- we get it. We're happy to leave it off your order, as well as anything else you have an aversion to. Simply include it in the "allergies/aversions" box on the order form. Fun fact: our most commonly heard aversions are bleu cheese, pickles, olives, and chocolate!
Can you accommodate allergies / dietary needs?
We'll do our best, but we can NOT guarantee that an order will be allergy-free. We can omit the requested ingredient, i.e. nuts, gluten, onion; however, we will never be able to 100% assure you that your order is safe from cross-contamination. If you have a serious allergy, we'd advise against ordering from us, as much as we love ya.
What if I am vegetarian/vegan or don't eat pork?
We can omit meat from your order and easily accommodate a vegetarian request. At this time, we are not offering vegan cheese & meat options; however, we would be happy to make you something pretty with extra nuts, fruit, veggies & dips in lieu of charcuterie & cheese.
Do you do dessert boards?
We can do anything! Send over an order with your specific request in the notes and we'll talk it through before invoicing.
What's the difference between a Grazin' Box and a Platter?
Nothing aside from the shape and style. They're ultimately going to include the same types of items. Boxes are more casual. They can be great for gifts, they're easy to transport, stack well in the fridge, and work well for a picnic! A platter may be more suitable to serve at an occasion or event.
Does every order come with crackers?
Yes, a small portion of crackers are included with every order. Additional crackers can be added.
How many different types of cheese will come on it?
We measure out all of our servings to ensure consistency, so in some cases, that may result in more or less varieties depending upon the size of the wedges we cut. Here's a general idea:
Party Favor: 1-2 cheeses
Happy Box: 2-3 cheeses
Cozy Box: 3-4 cheeses
Romance Box: 3-4 cheeses
Friendly Box: 4-5 cheeses
Welcoming Box: 5-6 cheeses
Party Box: 6-7 cheeses
Pleasing Platter: 4-5 cheeses
Popular Platter: 6-7 cheeses
Perfect Platter: 7-8 cheeses
How many different types of charcuterie will come on it?
Our Party Favor and Happy Box sizes will only include one type of meat. Most other sizes will include at least two types of meat. We use assorted salami, soppressata, capicola, coppa, chorizo, speck, and prosciutto. We do not accept order requests for specific types of charcuterie, as our orders will vary based upon our current fresh assortment. We do not have any pork-free options at this time.
Do you deliver this far?
We deliver to ALL of Sarasota County and Manatee County. The fee is $0.80/mile from our starting address (8111 Lakewood Main St. 34202). We are happy to provide you with a delivery quote if you shoot us a quick text. Please note that orders outside of Sarasota & Bradenton may require additional notice to accommodate, as we are located in Lakewood Ranch and our routes are mostly local.
Do I need to tip?
Our drivers greatly appreciate it, but it is not required. You can add additional $ when paying your invoice online, if you're not prone to carrying cash the day of the delivery. Tips are also accepted via Venmo (charcuterieandcheese). Thanks for your generosity!
Should I call you to place my order?
No need to call. Please submit your order request right here on the website. Orders are only accepted online at this time. If you need anything while placing your order, simply shoot us a text. We appreciate it!
How do I pay?
After we review your order request and confirm that we can accommodate it, we will e-mail you an invoice. You can pay the invoice using credit/debit right on our website; however, we prefer if you choose to opt for Venmo payment, as it helps us save on processing fees.
